Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be met and transferred to Pahalgam. Alternatively, if you arrive at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, you will be greeted and driven to Pahalgam. Once in Pahalgam, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

⮚ Day 2: Pahalgam - Chandanwari - Sheshnag

Depart from Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds, and head towards Chandanwari. Pahalgam serves as the ideal starting point for most treks. Chandanwari (2896 Mts.) is a serene valley located at the confluence of the Sheshnag stream and the Astanmarg stream. Upon reaching Chandanwari, embark on a 13 km trek to Sheshnag (3576 Mts.). The trail ascends the Pissu Ghati and gradually leads to the picturesque Sheshnag Lake, known for its brisk winds. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.

⮚ Day 3: Sheshnag - Panchtarni - Amarnath - Panchtarni

Commence the trek from Sheshnag to Panchtarni (3657 Mts.). The route passes through Mahagunas Pass (3200 Mts.) and continues with a gentle walk to Panchtarni. Further, trek from Panchtarni to the Amarnath cave, which is only 6 kms away. Take a dip in the ice-cold waters of the Amarnath journey stream outside the cave. Inside the cave, marvel at the serene setting with three massive Lingmas, symbolizing Lord Shiva, Parvathi, and Ganesh, standing tall and glistening. Later, trek back to Panchtarni for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

⮚ Day 4: Panchtarni – Baltal

Early morning departure for the Amarnath Holy cave (3953 M) to witness the Ice Lingam, a sacred site for Hindus. Thousands of pilgrims visit during the full moon day. Descend steeply from Amarnath to Baltal, a 4-hour walk. Overnight stay in tents at Paradise Camping, Baltal.

In the morning, drive to Srinagar. En route, visit Manas Bal Lake and Khear Bawani Temple (additional cost) or proceed directly to Srinagar. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.
