Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Upon reaching Srinagar airport, head to Dal Lake, where you'll board a houseboat for your stay. Enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
Start the day with breakfast and an early visit to Pahalgam, nestled at 2,130 meters. Once a simple shepherd's village, Pahalgam is now Kashmir's top resort destination. Explore its beauty with a relaxed walk or pony ride through scenic pinewoods to the famous Mini-Switzerland (Baisaran). Alternatively, opt for a sightseeing tour of Pahalgam, including stops at Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Aru Valley. Betaab Valley, named after a Bollywood film, offers lush green meadows surrounded by snowy peaks. Chandanwari, the starting point for the annual yatra from July to August, boasts flat terrain accessible by car. Return to Srinagar in the evening, check into the houseboat, and dine.
Day 3: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast, journey to Gulmarg. Enjoy lunch at a local eatery and explore Gulmarg, often dubbed the "Meadow of Flowers" and the "Switzerland of India." It features a renowned ski resort and the world's highest 18-hole golf course. Take a leisurely walk or pony ride (available for a fee) through verdant meadows, visit one of the world's highest golf courses, or hop on a Gondola ride. Discovered in the 16th century, Gulmarg was a cherished retreat of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir and boasts extraordinary beauty. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at a houseboat or hotel.
Day 4: Srinagar - Departure to Delhi
Commence the day with an early breakfast, followed by a visit to Srinagar's surrounding gardens. Return to the hotel for lunch before heading to Srinagar Airport for your flight to Delhi.
